The Barrel is an item that is most notably combined with the Trigger and the Buttstock to form the Shotgun.
Appearance
The Barrel is a fairly long wooden object that narrows down to the place through which bullets are supposed to be shot out of, except there is no hole there.
Spawning
The Barrel has five positions, they are not randomized, but predefined by the Preset you're playing on:
Garage - On the middle shelf, left rack.
Spider Cellar Tunnel - Near the vent leading to the Garage.
Dining Room - In the wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 - on the chest of drawers' shelf.
Hidden Closet - next to the Teddy.
Trivia
- Before Version 1.5, the Barrel could spawn in the Car Hood. After the said version's release, it moved to the Garage Shelf.
- Before Version 1.8, the Barrel could spawn in the Old House Closet. Later, it was moved to the Spider Cellar Tunnel in favor of the Wooden Stick.
- The Barrel, the Trigger and the Buttstock all produce the same noise when dropped.
- The Barrel is the longest and the biggest Shotgun Part out of the 3 parts.
- This item is the only shotgun part that can spawn in the Old House Closet, in the Hidden Closet, and in the Spider Cellar Tunnel.
- It is also the ONLY Shotgun Part that can activate Bear Traps due to its length.
- When V1.8 was released, the Barrel had some position changes on preset #1. Instead of standing on the Shelf and being propped up against the wall of the Garage, it now lies down on the Garage's Shelf.
- Please take note that this is not a bug or locations getting changed. This is only position changes.
- This item is alphabetically the first item in the game.
