Bedroom 2 is the one of three bedrooms in Granny's house. The room was added in Version 1.0, and connects the Walk-In Closet, the Foyer and Bookshelf Room together.
Description[]
This room contains a bed, a table with a chair, a Bookshelf, a chest of drawers and a knocked down painting. This room's bed has a white mattress and red pillow, both covered in blood. A Painting can be found, leaning on the wall of the room where it is just a white canvas with a big black splatter, and on top of the Painting is the Bookshelf Lever. There is a few identical books on the Bookshelf, and a window to the right of it.
Appearance[]
The Bedroom 2 is located on the Upper Floor. It's a relatively compact space with aged, green and chipping wallpaper and an extremely desaturated wooden floor, as well as a ceiling, also made out of extremely desaturated wood. The atmosphere in the room, like the rest of the house, is decrepit and eerie. The weak light and old furnishings in this room all contribute to the game's horror and creepy aesthetic.
Strategies[]
The Bedroom 2 is a fairly expansive room with 2 exists/entrances. It is not recommended to stay here for a long time, as Granny wanders here sometimes, and the doorway to the Walk-In Closet is exposed, meaning she can see you from there, as she wanders in there very usually. There are more threats like the re-spawning/spawning spot of Granny and the Chair, but it is really easy to avoid to knock over. The main purpose of this room is to get access to the Bookshelf Room and to place the Book onto the Lectern. It is a fairly quick process too. If she ever were to spot you in this room, you should as quickly as possible hide under the Table if you're playing on Extreme Mode. On other difficulties, you can run away from Granny fairly easily. This room, according to many people has the best view when under the Bed. Also another reason to not be here for an extended amount of time is because the process of grabbing an item from the drawer is so quick and easy, and on Preset #3 there is no need to check the drawers as nothing even spawns in this room as a whole.

Trivia[]
- This room most likely belonged to the Previous Victim, as there is a bloodstain on the bed, and tally marks in the Walk-In Closet
- The door to this room will become locked by Granny starting from day 3 onwards.
- In the song Granny's House, it's said that it is impossible to close the entrance to Bookshelf Room again.
- Prior to Version 1.3, any item that fell out of the map would reappear on this room's table.
- This is because the Backyard did not exist yet.
- Since Version 1.8, the Painting in this room no longer is a hazard as now it is already knocked down and is static.
- This is likely because if it was covered, the Player might have a frustrating time finding how to get into the Spider Cellar, which is always required to complete the game.
- It is not recommended to come to this room immediately, as Granny will have a chance of spawning in this room in the beginning.
- The Trigger and the Padlock Key used to spawn in this room.
- The Cutting Pliers always spawned in this room in Preset 1, in the left drawer ever since Version 1.0.
- Granny will very likely knock down the Chair if she spawns, or re-spawns in this room.
- This can give you a clue on where she spawned/re-spawned at, similarly with the Metal Panel in the Basement.
- Prior to Version 1.5, the Bookshelf Lever behind the Painting didn't exist.
