Beetle is the tertiary main antagonist of the game The Twins, as well as the pet of the twin brothers, Bob and Buck.
Appearance[]
It is a large hercules beetle with a greenish-yellow shell, a sharp black horn and bulging yellow eyes. He lives in a large cave at the bottom of the mine.
Behavior[]
The Beetle ignores the player until they step off the platform, either onto the floor or onto the stairs in the corner, exiting the cave. If the player is standing on the stairs, the beetle will run to the compartment under the stairs to protect the item that is there. If the player tries to go down the stairs, they instead run to the base of the stairs to intercept them, although the stairs are too small for them to actually climb up.

The Beetle can be killed with the revolver, plasma gun, and dynamite.
You can close it in the cave using a gate and a gear. To do this, you need to wait for another platform, and through it and other platforms get to the gear mechanism, insert the gear and press the lever in the hole in the wall.

- It will not be possible to kill the beetle right away with a revolver: after two shots the beetle will go unconscious, and on the third it will die.
