Buttstock

The Buttstock is an item, and one of the three items used to assemble the Shotgun, along with the Barrel and Trigger.

Appearance

The Buttstock has a complex shape with multiple jagged corners, and a narrowing curve to the part that connects it to the Trigger. It is made out of a dark shade of wood.

Spawning

The Buttstock has five positions that are not randomized, but predefined by the Preset you're playing on:

Hidden Closet - Under the left rack of the shelves
Shed - On the lower shelf
Spider Cellar - In the Cupboard #1
Kitchen - On the countertop
Old House Dining Room - On the table

Trivia

Until Version 1.7, the Buttstock could spawn on the Guillotine in the Backyard, making it the only item to spawn there.
The Buttstock used to spawn on top of one of the Barrels in the Basement on Preset 3. It was moved to the Spider Cellar in Version 1.8.
The Buttstock and the Meat are the only items that can spawn in the Spider Cellar's Cupboard #1.
Prior to V1.7.9.3, the Buttstock was darker.
- Since the release of the update, the Buttstock was brightened a little bit.
