Car Battery

Not to be confused with another item called Battery.

The Car Battery is an item used to repair the Car.

Description[]

It appears to be a rectangular block and a white colored Car Battery, with a sign symbolising electricity, inside of a yellow triangle. On its surface, is a tiny black, thin piece on the battery. Two metal terminals protrude from the surface of Car Battery to place it in the engine bay in the Car.

Mechanics[]

Usage[]

The Player must put it into the Engine Bay in order for the Car to work. It is placed at the right hand side of the Engine, found after lifting the Car Hood.

Spawning[]

The Car Battery can spawn in one of listed below locations, depending on which Preset you're playing on:

Preset #1 - Bedroom 1 - Chest of drawers' shelf.
Preset #2 - Basement - On the Workbench.
Preset #3 - Sewer Cell - Back left corner of the room, opposite of the Skeleton.
Preset #4 - Spider Cellar - In the right corner, next to the Wheel Crank Tunnel.
Preset #5 - Stair Closet - In the back right corner of the room.

Trivia[]

The Car Battery and the Melon share the same dropping sound.
In the previous versions, the Car Battery could spawn in different places:
- It used to spawn inside the Playhouse, later moved to the Sewer Cell in v1.7.
- It used to spawn in the Safe, later moved to the Workbench in v1.8.
- It used to spawn in Hidden Closet, in the secret lair/Teddy Closet, later moved next to the Wheel Crank Tunnel in v1.8.
It was currently the only item that could spawn in the Playhouse without being inside the Cogwheel Safe.
The texture electrical symbol of the car battery is reused for the electrical box behind the painting in Granny: Chapter Two.
