Tricks

You will need to learn some tips and tricks in order to beat the game. They are listed in the Tips and Tricks page.

Preset #1

As soon as you woke up, head straight to Bedroom 1, pick up the Car Battery and then, go to the Attic. Knock down the Vent Door and drop the Car Battery near the Plank Lock. (on Nursery) to make the glitch happen. (You can either do the Glitch, or go for a longer procedure to get the Hammer.)
After she done it, go to the Bathroom through the Vent. And since you have time, get the Trigger from the Kitchen and go to the Garage.
Put the Trigger onto the Table, and then, grab the Barrel (item) and, do the Sauna Trick first. When she got in, assemble it.
Now you have some time, go to the Secret Area Top Floor and find the Buttstock and the Spark Plug.
Gather all the items together at the Basement.
After that, assemble the Buttstock together and create the Shotgun.
Prepare it with ammo and shoot the Screwdriver down from the Foyer's Shelf.
Take the Screwdriver and drop it at the Spider Cellar Trapdoor.
Next, grab the Gasoline Can from the Basement's Workbench and drop it to the Sauna to do the Sauna Trick.
After that, grab the Cutting Pliers from the Bedroom 2's Drawer and go to the Attic.
Place a Plank at the Unstable Flooring and walk over to the Jail.
Go into the Jail and break the Jail Ventilator's wire. (make sure to break the camera too!)
Grab the Safe Key and drop it to the Foyer first so you have time to get the Car Battery.
And then, push the Mannequin near the Vent Tunnel so she will be distracted,
After she come, run downstairs immediately to the Garage and place it on the Car Hood.
Now, go to the Foyer to get the Safe Key. And then, go back again and open the Safe.
Grab the Car Key and open the Trunk.
Repeat Step No.3's Sauna Trick action again. And pick up the Gasoline Can and fill up the Gasoline Tank.
When she got knocked out, pick up the Car Key and drop it on top of the Car or the Shelf.
Pick up the Spark Plug from the Basement and put it inside the Car Hood.
Now, go to the Kitchen again and grab the Special Key from the Cabinet.
(EXTREME MODE ONLY) If you're playing Extreme Mode, it's recommend for you to repeat Step No.4 again because she only has a 15 second knockout time.
Insert the Special Key into the Special Lock.
Next, go to the Dining Room and grab the Book from the Wardrobe.
Go to the Backyard and make noise. After that, do the Timed Window Jump.
Put the Book into the Lectern. While waiting, you can go to the Special Room by taking the Shotgun and shoot the Red Button to get the Wrench. (Or a longer procedure, you need to wait for the Spider Key to be released. And then trying to avoid Spider Mom.) When Granny is making her way to the Special Room, hide either the Chest or the Vent Tunnel.
After the Spider Key being released, drop the Wrench to the Foyer and quickly make your way to the Spider Cellar with the Screwdriver.
Avoid Spider Mom and go to the Pipe Room.
Unscrew the Screwdriver Safe and grab the Padlock Key.
Now, go all the way to the Garage, unlock the padlock and open the Garage Door. (make sure you do that before resulting a knockout!)
After that, repeat Step No.4
And then, grab the Engine Part from the Living Room, and the Wrench (on where you dropped at) to the Garage.
Assemble all of it together and finally, grab the Car Key and enter the Car.
If all of it goes accordingly, enjoy the happiness of escaping the House.

Preset #2

Pick up the Grey Vase at the start of the day And then, go all the way upstairs to the Attic, and then knock down the Mannequin (because if you don't, Granny will in the process knock it over and the trick will fail) and the Vent Door, and then throw the Grey Vase through the Plank to perform a glitch where it can knock the Planks down.
When Granny came, go to the Bathroom through the Vent and then grab the Car Key from the toilet. After that, run all the way to the Starting Bedroom. Throw it near the bed to distract her. (Make sure hide behind the Door and grab the Car Key after doing that!)
When she came, run all the way to the Garage and open the Trunk to get the Weapon Key.
Throw the Car Key either on top of the Car, or on the Shelf. And then, go to the Sauna to do the trick by throwing it.
Now, go all the way upstairs to the Secret Area Top Floor and get the Tranquilizer Darts and the Crossbow.
Shoot down the Screwdriver and go to the Secret Area Bottom Floor.
- For Extreme Mode players, repeat Step No.4 again because you are going to be walking for a very long way.
Unscrew the Screwdriver Safes and get the Safe Key. And then, gather all the items together at the Basement.
- For Extreme Mode players, throw either the Screwdriver or the Safe Key to the Basement through the Iron Bars. And then, distract Granny by throwing the items that you have on your hand to the Secret Area Bottom Floor's stairs. And then hide behind the gap of the Middle Floor's Stairs. When Granny came, run all the way to the Basement. (Be aware of the Creaking Floors too!)
Open the Safe and grab the Chain Cutter. Now, go all the way to the Attic.
Grab the Plank and put it on top of the Unstable Flooring. And then, grab the Chain Cutter. Walk to the Jail.
Cut the Jail Ventilator's wire and grab the Red Cogwheel. Unscrew the Jail Door by unscrewing the Red Screws. Then, throw the Red Cogwheel to the Foyer so you can have time grabbing the Gasoline Can.
When she was struggling opening the Locked Door of the Jail, quickly, run all the way to the Backyard.
Throw the Gasoline Can to the Basement (Room). And then, grab the Red Cogwheel and go to the Backyard using the lon g ro ute.
Throw the Red Cogwheel on top of the Playhouse to alert her. When she came, crouch through the Shed Tunnel to go to the Sauna.
- You can also do the Timed Wall Jump. However, there will be a lot of distraction to Granny. Which could be annoying if you're a Starter Player.
Grab the Wheel Crank. And then, repeat Step No.4 again. (Make sure to grab the Wheel Crank again after doing it!)
After she got locked, throw the Wheel Crank through the Vent Grille of the Spider Cellar so it will be easier for later.
- As of now, throwing an through the Walls and Vent Grilles were glitches.
Take the Gasoline Can from the Basement and then fill up the Gasoline Tank.
And then, throw the Screwdriver (from the Basement) through the Vent Grille.
Now, run all the way to the Study and get the Book.
And then, run to the Bedroom 2 and pull the Bookshelf Lever and put the Book on top of the Lectern.
Grab the Wrench from the Bedroom 2's Drawer and throw it to the Foyer to distract Granny.
Now Granny was distracted. Go all the way to the Hidden Closet to get the Winch Handle.
And then, go all the way to the Backyard.
- For Extreme Mode players, distract Granny by touching the Secret Area Top Floor's Creaking Floors. When she came, run all the way to the Backyard.
Pull up the bucket using the Winch Handle at the Backyard. And then grab the Engine Part.
Distract Granny to the Backyard. You can either go back to the House through the Window using the Timed Window jump or through the Shed Tunnel.
Go back to the Garage and then put the Engine Part in the Car Hood.
Now, go back to the Foyer and grab the Wrench. And then, repair the Bolts on the Engine Part.
Now, repeat Step No.4 again by using the item you have on your hand.
After that, go back to the Study and grab the Spark Plug. And then assemble it on the Car Hood.
Go back to the Bedroom 2 and take the Spider Key. Then, go into the Spider Cellar through the Spider Cellar Trapdoor.
Now, gather all the items that you drop at the Spider Cellar's Vent Grille.
Get the Wheel Crank. Avoid Spider Mom and put it at the Wheel Crank Tunnel.
Now, walk to the intersection and go right to the Iron Bars (Spider Cellar). And then, go to Cupboard #3 and grab the Playhouse Key.
Now, gather all the items together on the Spider Cellar Tunnel. And then, take the Screwdriver. Avoid Spider Mom again and then walk to the Pipe Room.
Unscrew the Screwdriver Safe and take the Orange Cogwheel.
After that, run all the way to the Spider Cellar Tunnel and get out of the Cellar. (MAKE SURE TO GATHER ALL THE ITEMS AGAIN BEFORE LEAVING!)
Repeat Step No.4 again. And then gather all the items that required for the Playhouse at the Backyard.
Grab the Padlock Key after doing that. And then, unlock the padlock to open the Garage Door.
Grab the Car Battery from the Basement's Workbench and put it at the Car Hood.
Finally, take the Car Key. Get in the Car and exit the house.
If everything goes accordingly, the Car may start and you can exit the house with Joy.

Preset #3

When you spawn, distract Granny into the Starting Bedroom by throwing the Grey Vase at the room. And then, pick up the Book.
After she came, close the door and run to the Bedroom 2 and as always, open the Bookshelf Lever and then put the book on top of the Lectern.
Now, alert Granny into Bedroom 1 by touching the Creaking Floor of the room. And then run to the kitchen to get the Wrench in the Microwave.
Run to the Garage and throw the Wrench into the room. And then do the Basement trick by knocking the Girder down.
Now, go back to Bedroom 2 and take the Spider Key. While she was distracted to the Garage, quickly, run downstairs to distract Granny a bit, and open the Spider Cellar Trapdoor.
Now, go in the Spider Cellar Drain and grab the Weapon Key. And then, exit the Spider Cellar through the Vent.
Go to the Sauna to do the Sauna Trick.
Now, run all the way upstairs to the Secret Area Top Floor to get the Crossbow and the Tranquilizer Darts. And then, get the Gasoline Can first and throw it to the Basement.
And then, grab the Screwdriver.
Throw the Screwdriver into the Spider Cellar through the Trapdoor. And then, throw the Crossbow and the Darts in there too. (Shortcut)
Now, run all the way to the Attic's Vent Tunnel and grab the Wheel Crank. And then run all the way to the Spider Cellar.
Gather all of the it e m s together.
At first, get the Wheel Crank and run all the way to the Wheel Crank Tunnel to insert it.
Grab the Winch Handle (which spawns next to the Cupboard #3). And gather it near the Spider Cellar Tunnel's Vent Grille.
Now, grab the Screwdriver. Avoid Spider Mom and go to the Pipe Room.
Unscrew the Screwdriver Safe and grab the Spark Plug.
Repeat Step No.13. (MAKE SURE GRANNY IS NOT NEAR THE PLACE!)
Now, take the Crossbow and the Tranquilizer Darts and open the Vent Grille of the Spider Cellar (near the Sewer).
Aim for the Target Lock. After it is done, go in the Sewer Cell and grab the Car Battery.
Now, you can either distract Granny by dropping it near the Sewer Cell, or kill her by Freeze Trap.
Run all the way to the Garage and put all the ite ms to the Car Hood. (that requires to fix the Car)
Now, take the Winch Handle and go all the way to the Backyard. Pull up the bucket to get the Melon.
Cut it using the Guillotine and get the Padlock Key.
Distract Granny to the Backyard. And then exit it through the Window or the Shed Tunnel.
Now, unlock the padlock, and open the Garage Door. And repeat Step No.7.
Go to the Secret Area Top Floor's Drawer and grab the Car Key. And then open the Trunk to get the Hammer.
After that, go back to the Old House Kitchen and unlock the Old House Closet with the Hammer. And then grab the Engine Part.
Now, keep throwing the Engine Part to the walls of the Old House Closet to distract Granny to the Old House Dining Room
Quickly close the Door. And now, run towards the Garage.
Assemble it. And then, screw the Bolts of the Engine Part with the Wrench.
Get the Gasoline Can from the Basement and fill up the Gasoline Tank with the Gasoline Can.
Finally, grab the Car Key and start the Car.
If everything goes accordingly, the Car should start and you should be leaving the House and you can enjoy the happiness of Escaping the House.

Preset #4

Go to Bedroom 2 at the start of the day and grab the Engine Part. And then throw it to the Foyer.
And then, go to the Secret Area Top Floor and grab the Book on the second row of Drawer.
Throw the Book at the Shelf of the Hidden Closet so Granny will be lured to the Starting Bedroom.
And then, open the Bookshelf Lever and put the Book on top of the Lectern.
Now, run to the Garage and grab the Weapon Key on the Car's glove compartment.
Do the Sauna Trick. And then, run to the Secret Area Top Floor and grab the Crossbow and Tranquilizer Darts.
Knock the Screwdriver down and go to the Secret Area Bottom Floor.
Unscrew the Screwdriver Safe and grab the Padlock Key. After that, unlock the padlock on the Garage Door.
- For Extreme Mode players, throw it through the Iron Bars and then, run through the Secret Area and crawl through the Secret Area Top Floor's stair holes to avoid the Creaking Floor of the room.
- And then, touch the Bedroom 1's Creaking Floor to alert Granny. Hide behind the door and then, run all the way to the Basement.
- Grab the Padlock Key from the Basement and then unlock the Garage Door.
Grab the Chain Cutter. Now, knock down the Passenger Door of the Car. And then hide inside the Cabinet. (Make sure you do it quick especially for Extreme Mode players!)
When Granny came, run all the way to the Attic. Knock down every Haza rds at the Attic and perform the Glitch by throwing the Chain Cutter near the Plank. And then, hide on the Vent Tunnel.
When she knock down the Plank, go through the Vent Tunnel to the Bathroom.
And then, go to the Backyard and alert Granny by touching either the Bell Alarm or the Guillotine. When Granny came, do the Timed Window Jump.
Go back to the Attic again. Place and Plank on the Unstable Flooring. And then, grab the Chain Cutter and walk through it to the Jail.
Quickly go in and when the Jail Door closes, quickly release the Red Screws. And then, quickly cut the Jail Ventilator wire. Grab the Wrench and throw it to the Foyer so you have more time distracting Granny.
- Another trick you can do is, step the Creaking Floor multiple times and wait for Granny to came. When she came, run all the way to the Garage.
Grab the Wrench you drop on the Foyer earlier and then run to the Garage.
Drop it on the Car Hood or on the Shelf. Now, go to the Basement. Knock down the Boxes of the Dirt Room, and then, crouch all the way to the Backyard to get the Gasoline Can.
Distract Granny to the Shed by throwing the Gasoline Can on the floor. When she came, go back to the Garage, repeat Step No.6.
Now, go to the Nursery and grab the Car Key from the Drawer.
Go back to the Garage. Open the Trunk and grab the Melon. Now, knock down the Girder on the Basement and then, do the Timing trick and run to the Backyard.
Cut the Melon using the Guillotine and get the Spark Plug. Repeat Step No. 12 and run back to the Garage again and insert the Spark Plug on the Car Hood.
Now run to the Bedroom 2 and get the Spider Key. And then go in the Spider Cellar through the Trapdoor.
Run pass Spider Mom and get the Car Battery near the Wheel Crank Tunnel.
Exit Spider Cellar and insert it on the Car Hood.
Grab the Car Key (where you drop it at the Trunk) and repeat Step No.6. (MAKE SURE GRAB THE CAR KEY AGAIN AND DROP IT ON TOP OF THE CAR!) And then, run to the Foyer and grab the Engine Part.
Put it at the Car Hood and repair it using the Wrench.
Now, grab the Car Key and start the Car.
If everything goes accordingly, the Car should start and you will be able to escape the house with joy and happiness.

Preset #5

When spawn, distract Granny to the Starting Bedroom.
When she came, run to the Dining Room and grab the Book on the Shelf.
And then, go to the Backyard to distract her. When she came, do the Timed Window Jump and run to Bedroom 2.
Open the Bookshelf Lever and put the Book on top of the Lectern.
Now, grab the Weapon Key on Bedroom 2's Drawer and go to the Secret Area Top Floor.
Open the Weapon Safe and grab the Crossbow and Tranquilizer Darts.
Distract her to the Starting Bedroom by shooting the Darts on the Hidden Closet's Shelf.
Grab the Darts. And then, run to the right hand side wall of the Bedroom 1. Crawl under the bed and get up to avoid the Creaking Floor.
Close the Door of the Starting Bedroom and shoot the Screwdriver down.
Run as fast as possible and repeat Step No.3 again.
When she came to the Backyard, grab the Screwdriver and run to the Secret Area Bottom Floor.
Unscrew the Screwdriver Safe and grab the Car Key and run towards to the Garage.
Open the Car Trunk.
Now, do the Sauna Trick.
During her knockout time, go to the Kitchen's Locker and grab the Chain Cutter.
Throw the Chain Cutter near the Unstable Flooring (so it does not make any noise and later you can come up and do it again)
Now, go to the Study's Wardrobe and grab the Winch Handle.
Go to the Backyard. Pull up the Well using it and grab the Hammer from the bucket.
Repeat Step No.3 again.
Run upstairs to the Attic. Knock down the Plank and place it on top of the Unstable Flooring.
Grab the Chain Cutter. Throw it to the Jail and grab the Hammer on where you drop earlier.
Break the Security Camera and grab the Wheel Crank by breaking the Jail Ventilator's Wire.
Throw the Wheel Crank to the Foyer so she will be distracted to there.
Run to the Bedroom 2 and grab the Spider Key.
Go to Bedroom 1 and touch the Creaking Floor so she will be alerted to there.
Now, open the Spider Cellar Trapdoor without touching the Creaking Floors.
- For Extreme Mode players, repeat Step No. 14 because she is faster than you.
Grab the Wheel Crank. And go to the Spider Cellar Drain and grab the Wrench.
Throw the Wrench and the Wheel Crank to the Spider Cellar Tunnel.
Watch out of Granny's sight, knockout the Vent Grille of the Spider Cellar and throw the Wrench there.
Grab the Wheel Crank. Watch out for Spider Mom sight and go to the Wheel Crank Tunnel and insert it there.
If you are scared of where she was, run straight to the room of the Cupboard #2. And grab the Playhouse Key.
Gather it to the Spider Cellar Tunnel.
Without Spider Mom's sight, run to the previously 'caged' room of the Spider Cellar and grab the Orange Cogwheel on Cupboard #4.
Repeat Step No. 32.
- 34a) Tip: If you're too lazy to gather all of the items (that spawns in the Spider Cellar) to the Backyard, you can throw it on the Spider Cellar floor. And distract Spider Mom so she will knock down the items to the ground.
  - These items will later respawn next to the Well. And it will be easier job for you.
    - This tip is not recommend on Extreme Mode as Spider Mom runs faster than you.
  - As of now, it is a glitch.
Now, go to the Spider Cellar's Shelf and grab the Engine Part.
Repeat Step No.32 again.
Go to the Elevator and go upstairs to the Chest Room.
If you have found any numbers such as "1" or "2" scattered around the house, you can open the chest with the number that you've found (e.g. if you find a number "1" sticker in the Living Room wardrobe, then open the chest with the number "1" carved on top of it). Otherwise, try to find it in these locations or you can try your luck (BE WARNED: IF YOU CHOOSE THE WRONG CHEST, IT WILL EXPLODE, KILLING THE PLAYER INSTANTLY).
Grab the Melon and go to the Spider Cellar Tunnel.
Gather all of t he se it ems at the Garage. And then, throw either of t he se it ems and repeat Step No. 14.
Insert the Engine Part and repair it with the Wrench.
Gather all the Playhouse ite ms and the Melon to the Backyard (unless you did the Trick from Step No.34a) from where you drop it earlier. (Please go to the Backyard from the Dirt Room)
Cut the Melon and grab the Padlock Key.
Run back to the Garage and open the Garage Door.
Repeat Step No.14.
And then, run back to the Foyer and get the Crossbow and Tranquilizer Darts. And then, go to the Sewer Cell.
Hit the Target Lock. And get the Red Cogwheel.
Distract her to the back of the Sewer.
- You can either kill her using the Freeze Trap or with the Crossbow and the Darts. This is highly recommended on Extreme Mode.
Run all the way to the Backyard and insert the cogwheels into the Cogwheel Safe.
Grab the Spark Plug and run back to the Garage to assemble it at the Car Hood.
Repeat Step No.14.
Now, run to the Old House Kitchen Cupboard and grab the Gasoline Can.
Fill up the Gasoline Tank.
(EXTREME MODE ONLY) Repeat Step No.14
And then, go back to the Bookshelf Room and grab the Remote Control.
Run to the Stair Closet and grab the Car Battery.
Insert it to the Car Hood.
Grab the Car Key and start the Car.
If everything goes accordingly, the Car should start and enjoy the happiness while escaping the House.

Tips and Tricks

If you found any Car Escaping items (such as the Car Battery from Preset #1 and the Engine Part on Preset #4) on the Bedr ooms, throw these to the Foyer to distract Granny.
It's best to throw the Car Escaping items to the Garage to assemble it together.
If you're done finding all the items on the Spider Cellar, assemble all of it together at the Spider Cellar Tunnel.
Be warned when coming out of the Spider Cellar Tunnel because if you knocked off the Vent Grille of it, and when Granny is close, she will still knock you out.
Remember: Spark Plug is the smallest item for escaping the Car. You should always assemble it on the Car Hood after picking it up. Or else it would be hard to find especially on white color ground.
Throw any items from the Jail downstairs to the Foyer so you have time getting items and distracting Granny.
As of V1.8, the Screwdriver, Engine Part, Car Battery, Gasoline Can, Spark Plug, Wrench, Car Key, Padlock Key, Hammer (unless you performed the Glitch), Book, Spider Key and the we ap on s are always necessary for Escaping the Car on all Presets.
Throw items on the Hidden Closet's Shelf to distract Granny (character) to the Starting Bedroom.
