The Sewer Drain is a small swampy room in Granny. You can get to here from the Backyard using the trapdoor or enter this room from the Sewer through the Sewer Tunnel. However, you cannot go to the Backyard from here and instead, you must head to the Sewer through a tunnel.
Appearance
The Sewer Drain is a dimly lit, underground chamber. Its walls are made of aged concrete or stone that has darkened over time and shows signs of deterioration. Moss and algae are growing in patches, emphasizing its damp nature. Stagnant water covers the ground completely, reflecting the minimal light in the room and adding a murky quality to the environment. The room also features a Metal Trapdoor, which is one of its main entrances. The overall atmosphere of the Sewer Drain is one of decay, abandonment, and confinement, exuding a claustrophobic feeling typical of old underground tunnels or basements.
Strategies
- If the Player is trapped in this area, they can throw an item at the wall under the trapdoor which will lure Granny outside and permit them to safely leave through the Old House Floor. However, if they stand too close to the entrance hole, she will see them and run back. She will only see them if the sewer cover is removed.
- Granny is not able to access this room, so if the Player is getting chased by Granny, the Player can try to escape her by crawling through the Tunnel from the Sewer, or enter this room through the Trapdoor from the Backyard.
Trivia
- Even though no items will spawn in this room, this room is considered one of the safest room in the game.
- The sounds of the spiders from the Spider Cellar can be heard in the far left corner of the wall.
