The Christmas Tree is a hazard found in the middle of the Study. It's a Christmas-exclusive decoration and a hazard that exists only in Christmas updates.
Appearance
First Christmas Update
The Christmas Tree was a bark stick decorated with dark green leaves. There were several ornaments in the form of yellow and red balls, along with a golden star found on top.
PC Christmas Update
The Christmas Tree now also has a yellow tinsel and yellow christmas lights wrapped around it. Alongside that, it also emits a yellow light around it, brightening the Study.
Trivia
- It is completely ineffective outside of Easy Mode because it rests on top of a Creaking Floor anyway.
- Unlike other hazards, the Christmas Tree is the only one that will never stand up again after falling on the floor.
- The model for the Christmas Tree and its ornaments can be found on the "Unity Asset Store" under the name Christmas Spruce Tree.
- In the PC Port, the Christmas Tree is one of the only four things to emit a light source with the other ones being the Flashlight, the Small Lamp and the Wire Lock.
- The Christmas Tree is currently no longer available on the Unity Asset Store for unknown reasons.
