Difficulties are settings that the Player can choose before the game starts. There are currently five difficulty settings.

Practice

Easy

- No Creaking Floors.
- Opportunity to get a bonus day.
Normal

- Two extra locks on the Main Door.
- Darker Mode is on.
Trivia
- Practice was spelled "Practise" in Version 1.5. It's unknown why it got changed.
- In Version 1.1, there was no Bonus Day, so that was removed from the description.
- Since the PC version has no Darker Mode, the Extreme description on the PC version did not have "Darker Mode is on".
- Practice mode wasn't added until Verson 1.5.
