The Doors are structures in the game. Doors come in many forms and can be opened both by the Player and Granny. In the house, there are some doors that only Granny is capable of unlocking.

Mechanics[]

A door can easily be interacted with in order for it to open or close. Some can be locked, such as the Bedroom 2 door being locked on day 3 and up. The Playhouse door is locked by the Playhouse Padlock, which requires the Playhouse Key to open it. There are various other scenarios as well.

You can also hide behind various doors in order to not be seen by Granny at all. You can also close doors, and due to how long she takes to open them (approximately 1.5 seconds), meaning that the Player can use them as obstacles against her.

Appearances[]

Main Door[]

The Main Door is a wide orange wooden, dusty, and chipped door. It has caked dirt on it, and it has various locks of all kinds latched onto it.

House Door[]

The House Door is the door that leads to the Bedrooms, Bathroom, and any regular place in Granny's House. They are dust coated, brown wooden doors, with a small metal circular knob on each end. These knobs always have keyholes in their middles. It has a shape design chiseled into it on each side. Some of these doors can be locked by Granny.

Closet Door[]

The Closet Door leads to the mustier places of the house, like the Stair Closet, Meat Room, Basement and the Attic. It is a dark brown wooden door with a large circular brown wooden knob. The door appears to have water stains on it.

Shed Door[]

The Shed Door is a door that leads to the Shed or Backyard, depending on where you go. It is made of four long wooden brown planks, vertically nailed onto two smaller horizontal wooden planks, that also act as the hinges for the door. There is a wooden handle on one of the wooden planks, opposite of the hinge side.

Playhouse Door[]

The Playhouse Door is a chipping white painted wooden door. In the upper area, there is a window with four perpendicular wooden beams in it, forming a plus (+) shape. There is also a wooden plank for a handle, being latched by a padlock, and has a visible hinge on the other end.

Backyard Door[]

The Backyard Door is similar to the Main Door, except its engravings are divided into two squares instead of three. Its handle is also quite different, being more similar to the House and Closet doors.

Cover-Up Door[]

The Cover-Up Door is a door that is serving to hide the Abandoned House. It is a simple thin rectangular panel made up of the same white wooden planks that make up the Meat Room. It is the most basic door in the Granny series, lacking a handle.

Abandoned Door[]

The Abandoned Door is a water damaged, greenish wooden door that leads to the Abandoned Closet. It has many rectangular engravings that go in a 3 x 4 pattern. It also has the near same door handle as the House Door.

Sewer Door[]

The Sewer Door is a dusty metal door with four engravings of wide rectangular panels, It also has a latch for a window hole, but it may be welded, chained, or is simply sealed shut by age.

Sauna Door[]

The Sauna Door is made out of light-colored, brownish wood. The wood seems to be chipped, and has many smaller, darker points all over it. It also appears to have many different shades of the color brown, some lighter, some darker (it is possible that it was stripped, resulting in this case). The handle is a "pull handle" type of handle and uses the same exact material as the door itself.
