Disclaimer: The staff is currently testing to come up with the best way to escape with the Main Door. Please do not expect all of these to be very accurate and reliable. A Fandom is just like Wikipedia. Not everything you see is 100% accurate.

NOTE: The staff is currently making the procedures for all Presets. This procedure is for Version 1.8. If you didn't find the Vent Grille and the Spider Cellar Trapdoor, please update your game to the latest version.

You are free to voice your opinion on this page's discussion section as well. Although you can still vote here, the results have been finalized. This page has been changed to a numerical list format.

Notice

You will need to read the Item Locations in order to understand which variant of Granny you have. Avoid all hazards, drop all items in safe spots (the grass in Backyard, tables, the Special Room, and workbenches), and close all the doors behind you unless otherwise noted. Enjoy!

Tricks

You will need to learn some tricks in order to beat the game. They are all listed on the Tips and Tricks page.

Preset #1

1. Drop the Grey Vase on the Starting Bedroom and lure Granny into the room.
2. When she comes, run to the Kitchen's cupboard #2 and grab the Trigger.
3. Run to the Backyard. Use the Guillotine or throw the item near the Playhouse (make sure you pick it up after doing that!)
4. When she comes, either do the Timed Window Jump to the Dining Room or go to the Basement by going through the Shed Tunnel.
5. (Only for Players from Dining Room) Run to the Basement.
6. Run to the Garage with the Trigger and assemble it on the blueprint.
7. Grab the Barrel on top of the Garage's Shelf. And then, put it on top of the Shotgun's blueprint again.
8. Knock down the Passenger Door of the Car and hide yourself inside the Garage's Cabinet.
9. Rush out of the Cabinet and run upstairs, out of the Garage.
10. Run all the way to the Secret Area Top Floor.
11. Knock down the Boxes to access the Hidden Closet and grab the Buttstock.
12. Lure Granny to the Secret Area Bottom Floor by throwing the Buttstock on the stairs and then run to the Garage.
    • 11a) For Extreme Mode players, do Step 11 and hide yourself on the Secret Area Middle Floor's Stairs' Gap. When she passes by, run all the way to the Garage.
13. Lure Granny to the Sauna (MAKE SURE YOU PICKED UP THE BUTTSTOCK ONCE IT'S DONE) and do the Sauna Trick by closing the door and locking her in by using the Lock.
14. Assemble the Shotgun and pick up the Ammo. Run to the Foyer stairs and knock down the Screwdriver.
15. Run to the Secret Area Bottom Floor.
16. Unscrew the Screwdriver Safe and grab the Rusty Padlock Key.
17. Distract Granny by throwing Rusty Padlock Key on the stairs of the Secret Area Bottom Floor and then run to the Garage.
    • For Extreme Mode players, repeat Step 11 again.
18. Repeat Step No.12 with the Rusty Padlock Key.
19. Throw the Rusty Padlock Key through the Vent Grille of the Spider Cellar.
    • As of now, throwing items through the Vent Grille is a glitch.
    • Be warned that the Rusty Padlock Key will fall out of the map due to the key's size.
      • It will spawn back at the Backyard's Well.
20. Now, run to the Dining Room to grab the Book from the Wardrobe.
21. (EXTREME MODE ONLY) As she has a 15 second knockout, repeat Step No.3 and do the Timed Window Jump.
22. Run to the Bedroom 2.
23. Open the Bookshelf Lever to gain access to the Bookshelf Room.
24. Put the Book on top of the Lectern.
25. Run back to Foyer and grab the Shotgun.
26. Then, run to Bedroom 1 and grab some Shotgun Ammo.
27. Run all the way to the Sewer (BE AWARE OF THE CREAKING FLOORS!)
28. Shoot the Target Lock through the small window in the Sewer.
29. Grab the Wooden Stick and throw it through the Vent Grille of the Spider Cellar (next to the Sewer Cell and near the entrance of the Sewer).
30. Take the Freeze Trap on top of the Table and throw it into the Sewer Cell.
31. Hide inside the Sewer's Vent Tunnel.
32. When Granny comes and gets caught, run back to the Bedroom 2 and grab the Spider Key which was dropped by Slendrina's Mother.
33. Take Fall Damage by falling through the Upper Floor's stair holes (alternatively, you can avoid Fall Damage by falling on top of the Cabinet next to the Basement stairs).
34. Run to the Spider Cellar by opening the Spider Cellar Trapdoor and going through it.
35. Now, take the Rusty Padlock Key.
36. Avoid Spider Mom and run to the Pipe Room to unlock the Rusty Padlock.
37. Avoid Spider Mom again and get on the Elevator and go all the way to the Chest Room.
38. If you have found any numbers such as "1" or "2" scattered around the house, you can open the chest with the number that you've found (e.g. if you find a number "1" sticker in the Living Room's Wardrobe, then open the chest with the number "1" carved on top of it). Otherwise, try to find it in these locations or you can try your luck (BE WARNED: IF YOU CHOOSE THE WRONG CHEST, IT WILL EXPLODE, KILLING YOU INSTANTLY).
39. Grab the Winch Handle from the Chest Puzzle.
40. Avoid Spider Mom again and gather it at the Spider Cellar Tunnel.
41. Get the Wooden Stick from the Vent (to the Sewer).
    • WARNING: MAKE SURE SPIDER MOM IS NOT NEAR THE VENT. IF SHE IS, IT IS RECOMMENDED FOR YOU TO THROW THE WINCH HANDLE INTO THE GARAGE BY KNOCKING DOWN THE VENT GRILLE!
42. Avoid Spider Mom and run to the Pipe Room again.
43. Insert the Wooden Stick into the Lever Lock of the Pipe.
44. Avoid Spider Mom again and run to the Garage through the Spider Cellar Tunnel and escape it through the Vent.
45. Repeat Step No. 12 using the Winch Handle.
46. When the trick is done, run to the Backyard and pull up the bucket inside the Well using the Winch Handle and grab the Hammer.
47. Lure Granny to the Backyard and go to the Sewer Drain through the Metal Trapdoor.
48. Unlock the Old House Closet by prying the Planks.
49. Grab the Birdseed.
50. Quickly, (AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE) feed the Crow and grab the Remote Control.
51. Throw the Remote Control into the corner room of the Sewer.
52. When Granny comes, run all the way to the Foyer and unlock the Stair Closet.
53. Grab the Chain Cutter (on top of the Shelf) and enter the Spider Cellar through the Trapdoor.
54. Avoid Spider Mom and run to the Pipe Room.
55. Cut off the chains of the Pipe.
56. If everything goes accordingly, the Escape Pipe should open. Enjoy the moments of escaping the house and get a chance to peek at how the outside and how the Unknown Forest looks like.

Preset #2

1. Run to the Bathroom at the start of the day and grab the Car Key from the toilet.
   • 1a) For Extreme Mode players, it's recommended you take the Grey Vase and do the Sauna Trick before going to the Bathroom.
2. Then, run to the Garage.
3. Open the Trunk and take the Weapon key.
4. Run all the way to the Secret Area Top Floor and unlock the Weapon Safe.
5. Grab the Crossbow and the Tranquilizer Darts and run to the Foyer.
6. Knock down the Screwdriver and grab it.
7. Do the Sauna Trick using the Screwdriver.
8. When done, run to the Secret Area Bottom Floor.
9. Unscrew the Screwdriver Safe and grab the Safe Key.
10. Run to the Basement and open the Safe and grab the Chain Cutter.
11. Run to the Garage and throw the Chain Cutter through the Vent Grille of the Spider Cellar.
12. Now, get to the Dirt Room and get the Special Key.
13. Lure Granny into the Shed by throwing the Special Key onto the floor. (Or knock over the Tin Can )
14. Now, run to the Attic and throw the Special Key into the Attic for later.
15. When Granny comes to the Attic, drop to the Foyer by taking Fall Damage through the Upper Floor's stair holes (alternatively you can avoid Fall Damage by falling onto the Cabinet next to the Basement stairs).
16. Now, take the Crossbow and Tranquilizer Darts from earlier and go to the Sewer (BEWARE, THERE ARE CREAKING FLOORS!)
17. Shoot the Target Lock through the small window and go to the Sewer Cell.
18. Grab the Freeze Trap and put it near the Skeleton.
19. Hide near the Sewer's Vent Tunnel.
20. When Granny gets froze, take the Meat and run to the Attic.
21. Drop the Meat onto the Unstable Flooring so it doesn't make any noise.
22. Grab the Special Key and open the Special Door by inserting it into the Special Lock.
23. Take the Meat and run to the Special Room.
24. Place the Meat onto the Empty Plate and run to the Locker.
25. Grab the Birdseed and then, throw the Birdseed near the Barrels of the Special Room.
26. Run back to the Mannequin Room and hide in the Chest.
27. When Granny passes by, run all the way to the Old House Kitchen and feed the Crow by placing the Birdseed into the bowl.
28. Grab the Rusty Padlock Key and quickly, run to the Garage.
    • For Extreme Mode players, distract Granny by throwing the Rusty Padlock Key onto the stairs of the Secret Area Bottom Floor. And then hide behind the Secret Area Middle Floor's stairs gap. When she comes, run to the Garage.
29. Throw the Rusty Padlock Key through the Vent Grille of the Spider Cellar.
30. Do the 'quickly' timed Basement trick.
31. Now, go to the Study and grab the Book from the Wardrobe.
32. Run all the way to the Bedroom 2.
33. Open the Bookshelf Lever to gain access to the Bookshelf Room.
34. Put the Book on top of the Lectern.
35. Wait for Slendrina's Mother to drop the Spider Key.
36. When that's done, run to the Living Room and open the Trapdoor.
37. Gather all the items together in the Spider Cellar Tunnel.
38. Grab either the Chain Cutter or the Rusty Padlock Key and avoid Spider Mom and unlock the Escape Pipe.
39. Repeat Step No.38 (on which lock you haven't unlocked)
40. After that, avoid Spider Mom again and grab the Hammer from the Spider Cellar's cupboard #2 room.
41. Go to the Sewer through the Vent.
42. Unlock the Old House Closet by prying off the Planks of the room.
43. Go into the room and get the Wooden Stick.
44. Throw either these items near the exit of the Old House Closet and near the wall of the room.
45. When Granny walks into the Old House Dining Room, quickly, close the door of the room and run to the Spider Cellar (BE CAREFUL OF THE CREAKING FLOORS, LARGE LAMP, AND BELL ALARM!)
46. Avoid Spider Mom one more time and run to the Pipe Room.
47. Insert the Wooden Stick into the Lever Lock.
48. If everything goes accordingly, the Escape Pipe should open. And in this moment, enjoy the moments of exiting the house and get a chance to peek at how the outside and how the Unknown Forest looks like.

Preset #3

1. Lure Granny into the Starting Bedroom by throwing the Book into the right-hand corner of the room.
2. When Granny comes, run to the Bedroom 2.
3. Open the Bookshelf Lever to access to Bookshelf Room.
4. Place the Book on top of the Lectern.
5. And then, run to the Secret Area Top Floor and grab the Car Key on the right-hand side of the Drawer.
6. Lure Granny into the Secret Area Bottom Floor by throwing the Car Key onto the stairs, and then run to the Garage.
7. Open the Trunk and grab the Hammer.
8. Do the Sauna trick by using the Hammer.
9. When Granny comes, it's best to knock down the Rear Bumper to not make noise on the Garage.
10. Run to the Attic.
11. Break down the Plank Lock with the Hammer and grab a Plank.
12. Place the Plank on top of the Unstable Flooring.
13. Grab the Meat inside the Nursery and throw it near the Special Door for later.
14. Knock down every Hazard in the room for later.
15. Now, grab the Spider Key (where Slendrina's Mother drops it)
16. Time for distraction (especially for Extreme Mode players).
17. Run to the Attic and knock down the Mannequin again.
18. When Granny comes, hide inside the Vent Tunnel.
19. Drop yourself down to the Bathroom and run to the Living Room.
20. Open the Spider Cellar Trapdoor and drop yourself into the Spider Cellar.
21. Avoid Spider Mom and run to the Elevator to the Chest Room.
22. If you have found any numbers such as "1" or "2" scattered around the house, you can open the chest with the number that you've found (e.g. if you find a number "1" sticker in the Living Room wardrobe, then open the chest with the number "1" carved on top of it). Otherwise, try to find it in these locations or you can try your luck (BE WARNED: IF YOU CHOOSE THE WRONG CHEST, IT WILL EXPLODE, KILLING THE PLAYER INSTANTLY).
23. Grab the Special Key from the Chest Puzzle.
24. Avoid Spider Mom again and run back to the Garage.
25. Repeat Step No.8 but with the Special Key.
26. When done, run upstairs to the Attic and unlock the Special Room.
27. Grab the Meat and feed it to the Spider on top of the Empty Plate.
28. Grab the Chain Cutter inside the Locker and run to the Jail by knocking off the Unstable Flooring.
29. Cut the Jail Ventilator's wire and grab the Safe Key. (MAKE SURE YOU BREAK THE SECURITY CAMERA BEFORE ENTERING!)
30. Throw either the Chain Cutter or the Safe Key into the Foyer first so you have more time distracting Granny.
31. Distract Granny into the Jail either by touching the Creaking Floor, the Blue Vase or throwing items onto the floor of the room.
32. When Granny comes, run to the Basement and open the Safe.
33. Grab the Rusty Padlock Key and throw it into the Spider Cellar Drain (MAKE SURE YOU HEARD A KEY DROPPING. IF YOU DON'T, THE KEY MUST'VE BEEN GLITCHED OUT OF THE MAP. IT WILL RESPAWN NEAR THE BACKYARD'S WELL).
34. Run to the Foyer and grab the Chain Cutter (from where you left it earlier) and then repeat Step No. 33 again.
35. Go to the Backyard and step on the Bell Alarm.
36. Run to the Dirt Room through the Shed Tunnel and grab the Remote Control on top of the Table.
37. Knock down the Boxes of the room and do the Sauna Trick.
38. When done, run to the Stair Closet and unlock the Remote Lock.
39. Open the door and grab the Wooden Stick.
40. Run to the Spider Cellar. Make sure you have the Rusty Padlock Key, the Chain Cutter, and the Wooden Stick with you.
41. Gather all of aforementioned items.
42. Avoid Spider Mom and take all the aforementioned items to the Escape Pipe (Make sure all of the locks are unlocked so the door will open!)
43. If everything goes accordingly, the Escape Pipe should open. In this moment, enjoy the moments of exiting the house and get a chance to peek at how the outside and how the Unknown Forest looks like.

Note: The Screwdriver, Crossbow, and Shotgun are completely useless on this Preset. The Birdseed and the Cutting Pliers are also useless in this Preset (unless you really have no idea how to beat the game).

Preset #4

1. When you spawn in, throw the Grey Vase into the corner of the Starting Bedroom.
2. When Granny comes in, go to the Kitchen and grab the Birdseed inside the Kitchen's Locker.
3. After that, run to the Backyard.
4. Throw the Birdseed near the Playhouse to distract Granny (You can also activate the Guillotine or the Bell Alarm instead).
5. When Granny comes, go to the Sewer Drain through the metal trapdoor.
6. Go all the way to the Old House Kitchen and feed the Crow with the Birdseed by putting it in the bowl.
7. Grab the Orange Cogwheel and go to the Backyard.
8. Throw the Orange Cogwheel near the Playhouse.
9. Get out of the Backyard and do the Timed Window Jump.
10. Go to the Kitchen and grab the Wheel Crank inside the Microwave.
11. Now go to the Garage and do the Sauna Trick (using the Wheel Crank).
12. When done, knock down the Rear Bumper, and throw the Wheel Crank through the Vent Grille.
13. Grab the Chain Cutter on top of the Garage's Table.
14. Repeat Step No.14 (the throwing items through Vent Grille procedure!)
15. And then, go to the Car's Glove Compartment and grab the Weapon Key.
16. Run to the Secret Area Top Floor and open the Weapon Safe to grab the Crossbow and the Tranquilizer Darts.
17. Then run to the Sewer and knock down the Target Lock to access the Sewer Cell.
18. Grab the Hammer on top of the Table.
19. Run to the Old House Kitchen (near the Old House Closet).
20. Knock down the planks of the room and grab one.
21. Lure Granny into the Secret Area Bottom Floor by throwing the Plank near the Stairs.
22. Then, run to the Attic and place a Plank on top of the Unstable Flooring.
23. Go into the Jail and grab the Wooden Stick.
24. Touch the Creaking Floors multiple times.
25. When Granny comes to the room, run all the way to the Garage.
26. Repeat Step No.11 (using the Wooden Stick).
27. When done, throw the Wooden Stick through the Vent Grille.
28. Now, run to the Secret Area Top Floor and grab the Book.
29. Open the Bookshelf Room by opening the Bookshelf Lever.
30. Place the Book on top of the Lectern.
31. While waiting, run to the Old House Closet and grab the Meat.
32. Run to the Attic and throw the Meat near the Special Door.
33. Knock down the Vent Door to escape to the Bathroom from Granny.
34. Get back to the Starting Bedroom and repeat Step No.1.
35. Quickly run to the Bedroom 2 and grab the Spider Key.
36. Do a wraparound by passing the Walk-In Closet and Bedroom 1 and walk into the Living Room.
37. Open the Spider Cellar Trapdoor with the Spider Key.
38. Avoid Spider Mom and run to the Spider Cellar Tunnel and gather the Wooden Stick, the Wheel Crank, and the Chain Cutter.
39. Grab the Wheel Crank and insert it into the Wheel Crank Tunnel.
40. Get to the area that's caged by the Iron Bars and grab the Special Key inside the Spider Cellar's cupboard #3.
41. Avoid Spider Mom again and run back to the Spider Cellar Tunnel.
42. Gather it and now, assemble the items that are needed to escape and unlock the Chain Lock and the Lever Lock (Wooden Stick and the Chain Cutter).
43. Repeat Step No.41 and get out of the Spider Cellar through the Vent Grille to the Garage.
44. Repeat Step No.11 using the Special Key.
45. When done, run to the Attic and open the Special Door using the Special Key and go to the Special Room with the Meat.
46. Feed the Spider by putting the Meat on top of the Empty Plate.
47. Run to the Locker of the Special Room and grab the Winch Handle.
48. Once done, throw an item near the Special Room's Barrels.
49. Hide in the Chest of the Attic.
50. When Granny comes to the Attic, run all the way to the Backyard.
51. Pull up the bucket inside the Well and grab the Red Cogwheel from inside.
52. Throw it near the Playhouse to distract Granny.
53. When Grannycomes, exit the Backyard into the Dining Room with the Timed Window Jump.
54. Run all the way to the Study and grab the Playhouse Key inside the Drawer.
55. Go back to the Backyard again but this time, go through the Shed Tunnel so it's less dangerous.
56. Open the Playhouse and insert the cogwheels so the Cogwheel Safe will open.
57. Grab the Rusty Padlock Key inside the Safe.
58. Repeat Step No.9 and run to the Living Room and enter the Spider Cellar through the Spider Cellar Trapdoor.
59. Now, avoid Spider Mom and run all the way to the Pipe Room and unlock the Escape Pipe by unlocking the Rusty Padlock.
60. If everything goes accordingly, the Escape Pipe should open. In this moment, enjoy the moments of exiting the House and get a chance to peek at how the outside and how the Unknown Forest looks like.

Preset #5

1. When you spawn in, throw the Grey Vase into the corner of the Starting Bedroom.
2. When Granny comes, run to the Kitchen and grab the Chain Cutter inside the Locker.
3. Run to the Backyard and lure Granny there either by activating the Guillotine, or the Bell Alarm.
4. When Granny comes, go to the Sauna and do the Sauna Trick using the Chain Cutter.
5. When done, throw the Chain Cutter through the Vent Grille of the Spider Cellar.
6. Run to the Study's Wardrobe and grab the Winch Handle.
7. After that, run to the Backyard and go to the Well.
8. Pull up the bucket using the Winch Handle and grab the Hammer.
9. Repeat Step No.3.
10. Open the Metal Trapdoor and go to the Sewer Drain.
11. Go to the Old House Kitchen and knock down the Plank to access to the Old House Closet.
12. Grab the Special Key and throw it near the Old House Closet wall to lure Granny to the Old House Dining Room.
13. When done, quickly close all the doors of the Sewer Area and run to the Attic.
14. Open the Special Door by inserting the Special Key into the Special Lock.
15. Knock down the Vent Door and hide inside the Vent Tunnel.
16. Go to the Bathroom through the Vent Tunnel.
17. Go back to the Starting Bedroom and repeat Step No.1.
18. When done, go to the Dining Room's Shelf and grab the Book.
19. Repeat Step No.4's Sauna Trick using the Book.
20. When done, go to the Bedroom 2 and open the Bookshelf Lever to access the Bookshelf Room.
21. Put the Book on top of the Lectern.
22. Grab the Weapon Key and go to the Secret Area Top Floor and open the Weapon Safe.
23. Grab the Crossbow and Tranquilizer Darts and knock down the Screwdriver.
24. Repeat Step No.4's Sauna Trick using the Screwdriver.
25. Repeat Step No.5 with the Screwdriver.
26. Wait for Slendrina's Mother to drop the Spider Key.
27. When done, grab the Spider Key and go to the Living Room and open the Spider Cellar Trapdoor.
28. Gather the Screwdriver and the Chain Cutter from earlier.
29. Get the Chain Cutter and then, avoid Spider Mom and go to the Pipe Room.
30. Cut the Chain Lock of the Escape Pipe.
31. Avoid Spider Mom and run to the Spider Cellar Tunnel and grab the Screwdriver.
32. Repeat Step No.28 with the Screwdriver.
33. Unscrew the Screwdriver Safe and grab the Safe Key.
34. Repeat Step No.30 and throw the Safe Key into the Spider Cellar Tunnel.
35. Now, avoid Spider Mom and run to the Spider Cellar's cupboard #1 room (near the Sewer's Vent Grille).
36. Grab the Meat and bring it near the Spider Cellar Tunnel.
37. Bring the Meat and the Safe Key to the Garage.
38. Repeat Step No.4's Sauna Trick.
39. Open the Safe and grab the Wooden Stick and run back to the Garage, then throw the Wooden Stick into the Vent Grille.
40. Grab the Meat and run all the way to the Special Room.
41. Feed the Spider with the Meat and go to the Locker and grab the Rusty Padlock Key.
42. Throw the Rusty Padlock Key near the Barrels of the room and hide inside the Attic's Chest.
43. When Granny passes by, run to the Spider Cellar straight away and gather all the items from earlier (Wooden Stick and Rusty Padlock Key).
44. Lastly, repeat Step No.28 and insert all the aforementioned items together inside their respective locks and open the Escape Pipe.
45. If everything goes accordingly, the Escape Pipe should open, in this moment, enjoy the moments of exiting the house and get a chance to peek at how the outside and how the Unknown Forest looks like.

Note: You can try this Preset and escape the pipe by not touching all the Creaking Floors of the house. A video of Dem Ro trying it can be seen here. However, this is not recommended for slow players because it is hard and there are tons of things could happen if you failed to do some tricks.

Tricks and Tips

• The Sauna Trick and the Timed Window Jump are always necessary if you want to do escape every route.
• If you want to exit the Spider Cellar through the Garage or the Sewer's Vent, make sure that Granny is not nearby as she will knock you out.
• Remember, the Special Key and (or) the Meat are always necessary on all Presets excluding Preset #1.
• It's recommended that players drop items in the Pipe Room so that Granny will be lured to the Backyard.
• There's a glitch where you can get into the Spider Cellar without the Spider Key.
  • For starter players, it's not recommended for you to do so as it will be hard.
• The Rusty Padlock Key, Book, Wooden Stick, Chain Cutter, and the Spider Key are always necessary to escape through the Escape Pipe on all Presets.
• The Cutting Pliers, Main Door, and Car escaping items are completely unnecessary on all Presets if you want to escape through the Escape Pipe.
