The Girder is a hazard in Granny and it is found in the Basement, behind the Workbench wall.
Description
The Player must exercise caution to avoid alerting Granny in the Basement. Knocking it over will create noise, which can draw her attention.
Appearance
The Girder seems to be made out of either metal or wood, it has a black/gray kind of color. It has a small cylindrical knob on the top of it. Its color is fading away and is chipping. Its appearance generally seems dull and has a moist texture to it.
Strategies
There is a useful trick that uses the Girder to buy the Player some time. You knock it over to face the side of the Garage entrance area. You then go back the other way, opposite of the Girder, and watch Granny from the side of the stairs, make sure you follow her on the axis when she is going down the stairs. You can then go up the stairs safely. You can also do this the other way, but Granny seeing you is much more likely. Just make sure that you don't get too close to the stairs, as she will most likely see you.
