Granny released for PC on November 20, 2018, on Steam. It was suddenly taken down in 2022 for unknown reasons but returned June 23, 2023.
Differences from Mobile[]
- Granny's House is much darker. This is why the player is given a Flashlight/a Lantern, two items only found in this port, which makes the house more visible.
Things that can be seen in the dark:
- Granny's eyes
- The Wire Lock
- The Small Lamp
- The Christmas Tree
- The small hanging lightbulbs around the house.
- Spider Mom's eyes (Only Version 1.3.2)
- An Introduction plays each new game that shows how the player ends up in Granny's House
- It can be skipped by pressing the ESC key or the option "Show Intro" can be unchecked from the main menu
- The graphics are better in quality.
- A new setting called "Image Effects" that enables motion blur, ambient occlusion and depth of field.
- This setting may run worse on older hardware.
- In the start screen the Teddy appears behind the door frame Granny stands in and not in front like the mobile version
- Unlike the latest mobile build, there is an animation when a beartrap is clicked

Trivia[]
- (OLD FACT)
- The mobile version is free, but the PC port costs $4.99/3.99€.
- This is because the PC version has better graphics and no ads.
- Although, the PC Port used to cost 8.19€/$10 at launch.
- The mobile version is free, but the PC port costs $4.99/3.99€.
- (UPDATE)
- DVloper raised the price of the Granny Steam games from 3.99€/$ to around 7.99€/$ (these both include american dollars and euros). While he didn’t give an official reason, price increases like this usually happen when a developer updates a game, refreshes its content, or adjusts it to match current market standards.
- Before Version 1.3, the textures looked more like those from the mobile Version 1.0.
- In Version 1.3, there was an oversight where after the player takes fall damage, the player automatically moves forward suddenly.
- If this movement is disturbed, it could potentially lead to fall damage animation delaying without smoothness.
- In its latest Halloween update, there is now an option for a dimmer light source.
- There are also new lights around the house which make the game much darker and creepy.
- In version 1.3.2, DVloper significantly increased the intensity of ambient occlusion, making the game much more eerie.
- On November 2, 2025, DVloper released version 1.3.3 and added an AI disclosure to the Steam page that reads: "The latest Halloween update includes 3D objects that are AI generated using Meshy.ai."
- Back when Granny had her chapter two & three dress, the PC port was the only platform to not update her dress, keeping the buttons dress.
