One of the most horrifying features of Granny is perhaps the multiple jumpscares. These can really cause the Player to scream if not expected or if it's their first time seeing the jumpscare. It can really catch them off-guard.

The Bed Jumpscare[]
One of the most well-known jumpscare is when the Player tries to hide from Granny under the Bed, ending with Granny falling on all fours resulting in an extremely horrifying jumpscare. The sound that plays when Granny drops to all fours makes the Bed jumpscare even more horrifying.
Basement Game Over Scene[]
Another well-known jumpscare occurs when the Player gets knocked out 5 times and gets thrown into the basement ending. Most of the animation is harmless until the Player looks up and sees Granny with her mouth open, falling onto the Player to eat him, resulting in the jumpscare.
Granny can also jumpscare you if she sees you hiding in the Car, the Chest or the Cabinet. If she does see you, she will open one of the three hiding places, pull the Player out and jumpscare them.
Spider Mom Jumpscare
After Version 1.8 update, another jumpscare was added.
When Spider Mom sees you, she roars at the Player, which, when heard the first time, could give the Player goosebumps.
Trivia[]
- There is a glitch, where even if Granny sees you going under the Bed, she won't jumpscare you.
- Since Version 1.7.9.3, there have been a few occurrences where Granny can see the Player hiding in the Cabinet, even though she didn't see them going in the Cabinet.
- The most likely explanation is that she can see you, because there are very narrow holes on the sides of the Cabinet, which are still visible to the outside, meaning she can technically see you.
