The Mannequin is an audio hazard located in the Mannequin Room of the Attic. It has been in Granny since Version 1.2, in which the Attic itself got added.
Appearance[]
The Mannequin is composed of two parts: its stand and its body part.
- The stand is made out of some type of metal, painted in light red. Generally, it is made out of a thin pole that is connected to the body part and a square base attached together. It has bits of grime on the base part, that attaches the pole.
- The body part is a head attached to a torso. This part is made of a cloth material, which was formerly white. Unfortunately, it turns grey from all the dirt and dust on it, and it seems to be deteriorating.
The Mannequin is covered in fresh blood in Nightmare mode.
Mechanics[]
The Mannequin will stand still, until the player comes in the room and knocks it over. Once the Mannequin hits against the floor, it will make a soft noise that Granny will immediately come to investigate. If the Mannequin lies knocked over for half a minute, it will be put back into its original position.
Trivia[]
- For some reason, it is the center of focus in the Trailer #2 of Granny. It may be just because it's in the center of the Attic, or because it holds some level of significance.
- The Mannequin, the Cardboard Boxes, and the Book all share the same dropping sounds.
- The absence of arms or legs on it suggests that it's either customized for a specific purpose or has been severely damaged by Granny.
- In Version 1.8, it was moved a bit closer to the entrance of the Mannequin Room, and was placed at a different angle.
- The Mannequin also makes a reappearance in Granny 3.
