The Numeric Padlock is one of several locks on the Main Door, as well as an obstacle that needs to be removed for the Main Door escape route.

Appearance

The Numeric Padlock has the appearance of a padlock with a number pad embedded into it. The main part of it is black with several scratches and scrapes, and the shackle is not painted and reflects light like metal.

Mechanics

Unlocking it requires the Padlock Code item, and an interaction with it. Doing so, the metal panel above it will slide to the left, and the lock will drop to the ground, creating a noise that alerts Granny.

This lock will only appear if you're playing with the Extra Locks option, or playing in any other difficulty with the exception of Easy.

Trivia

All padlocks, including the Numeric Padlock, share the same dropping sound.
It does not make sense how a piece of paper saying "code" manages to unlock a padlock.
- Unless its an envelope with the code inside.
According to telephone numbers and the padlock code, the code to this lock would be 2633.
On rare occasions, the Numeric Padlock will glitch through the floor, causing it to teleport next to the Well.
If the Plank Lock is laying on the floor, the dropping sound of the Numeric Padlock will never be created.
Before V1.5, Granny would manually place the Numeric Padlock if the player took off multiple locks within 2 days.
- Up until V1.1, a metal clunk noise would indicate this happening, but since V1.2, this did a message exclusive to the Easy that said "You are too good. Granny has placed an extra lock on the main door."
- In the game files, this lock is known as "Digital Padlock"
