Old House Closet

The Old House Closet is a small room between the Old House Kitchen and the Meat Room entrance. It was added to Granny in Version 1.7.

Description

It is similar to the Hidden Closet, but its doorway is boarded up with the Planks, that require the Hammer for their removal.

This closet is rather empty, containing one Barrel. However, an important item will always spawn on top of the Barrel. It requires crouching to get in, therefore Granny cannot access this room, so it is a safe place to be in without the risk of being knocked out.

Although, Granny can knock you out if you are partially outside the room.

Spawning

An item will always spawn inside of the Old House Closet, but they are predefined by presets:

Preset #1 - Birdseed
Preset #2 - Wooden Stick
Preset #3 - Engine Part
Preset #4 - Meat
Preset #5 - Special Key

Trivia

You will be required to remove two Planks off if you wished to enter the closet.
Preferably, the middle Plank.
- Unlike the Nursery on the Attic where you only needed to remove one off.
In Version 1.7, there is a glitch in which the Hammer wasn't required to get into the Old House Closet. The Player could simply focus in-between the Planks and they can get through the Planks.
- Additionally, another glitch can be used for this purpose. Throw an item near the planks and hide. Granny should come, knock the Planks down and leave.
  - Unfortunately, all of these were patched in Version 1.7.1.
  - However, the Nursery's planks can still, to this day be knocked down by Granny.
If you throw an item into the corner next to the Barrel, it will sometimes lure Granny to the Secret Area Top Floor.
The Barrel used to spawn in this room in Version 1.7, but was moved in the Spider Cellar Tunnel as of Version 1.8.
The Old House Closet along with the Nursery are the only rooms in the game that need to be unlocked using the Hammer.
