The Old House Kitchen is a large room, that connects the Secret and Sewer areas together. It's also where Granny's pet, the Crow resides. This room was added to Granny in Version 1.7.

Description

The Old House Kitchen is a pretty large room. Its interior is made out of light-brown planks. The left and right walls of this room have one window each. These windows are really small, and have completely blue and opaque glass. There's a staircase here that has a board as the railing, and leads to the Sewer. There are also doorways to Old House Dining Room, Old House Closet which is boarded up with Planks, and the Hammer is required to get into there. There's also a black-and-white painting of Slendrina's Mother. There are two wooden crates stacked on top of eachother, and on top of them is a green cage, in where the Crow resides, which will also contain an item inside. On the opposite side, there is a Barrel with an empty birdseed bowl. There are two little Cupboards with dark-brown wooden doors. The right cupboard has a sink installed into it and can sometimes contain an item, while the left door is broken and will never contain an item, although can be used as a hiding place from Granny if necessary.

The Crow will always spawn inside of its green cage, at the start of day 1.

Tips

• It's best to lure Granny to the Backyard and go to this room through the trapdoor to descend into the Sewer to steal the item from Crow Cage, it will buy you enough time to escape to a much safer area.
• The Creaking Floor in the Old House Kitchen is easier and safer to avoid by going alongside the fireplace.

Trivia

• The Old House Kitchen is the only room in Granny's House that has two windows.
• Strangely, there is a window that is very close to the Meat Room, which is a little unnecessary since the windows need to bring air into the place, but being too close to another place ends up being useless.
• This is also the place which has the furthest window in the entire house, the window of which is the one next to the crow.
• The Old House Kitchen is one of few rooms, where Granny won't wander on her own will.
• The Playhouse Key and Safe Key used to spawn in this room in Version 1.7. Later, both of those were moved to the Spider Cellar.
• While the Rusty Padlock Key (Preset 2) and the Master Key (Preset 5) took both of the keys' place.
