Options Menu is the page where the player can customize their experience of Granny. This menu shows up after the player has touched the "PLAY" button on Main Menu.
Options
Difficulty
The button titled as "Difficulty" will drop down a list of five options after getting pressed: Practice; Easy; Normal; Hard; Extreme. Pressing on one of them will change the game's difficulty to be one the player selected, which affects gameplay, or visuals of Granny.
The dropdowns list can be closed back, if a player presses on anything, that isn't difficulty options.
Darker
The checkbox titled as "Darker" is used for limiting the Player's vision by surrounding them with thick black fog. It is always forced to be turned on, while the Extreme difficulty is selected.
Extra Locks
The checkbox titled as "Extra locks" is used for making all locks, that are placed on the Main Door appear on it. This option is always turned on, while the Extreme difficulty is selected.
Music
The checkbox titled as "Music" is used for turning the background music in-game either on or off.
Nightmare
The checkbox titled "Nightmare" is used for changing Granny's house's appearance. While it's turned on, her house will turn mostly colorless and covered in blood; Spectral Rats, which bite the Player and alert Granny will appear; background music will change to become more unsettling, and chase music will become orchestral with a bunch of violins playing.
Quality
The button titled as "Quality" will drop down a list of three options after getting pressed: Low; Medium; High. These options change the resolution of most textures in Granny, making them more or less blurry.
Privacy Options
The button titled "Privacy options", when pressed, displays a window, where the player can decide to either share some of their information with DVloper's partner companies, or to not. This information is used to display more relevant ads for the player.

The window with privacy options.
Tips Menu
After the player sets the game to their liking, once they press the "continue" button in the bottom left corner, a "tips menu" will appear, telling the player about the basic and essential information about how the game works (such as "Be quiet. She hears everything.").

The "Tips Menu" as seen in Version 1.8.2.
