The Playhouse Key is a key used to unlock the Playhouse in Granny.
Appearance
The Playhouse Key is a small key with a scratched-up, square-shaped metal handle painted in light green. The handle has a small rectangular hole in it. It has a silver blade with four teeth.
Usage
The Playhouse Key must simply be used on the padlock that latches the Playhouse closed. When it is used, the padlock will fall off and hit the floor, creating noise that will attract Granny. Upon completion, the Player can open and close the Playhouse door.
Spawning
The Playhouse Key spawns in one of listed locations below:
- Preset 1: Inside of the Melon
- Preset 2: Spider Cellar - In Cupboard #3
- Preset 3: In the Secret Area Screwdriver Safe
- Preset 4: Study - In the left drawer
- Preset 5: Spider Cellar - In Cupboard #2
Trivia
- In the previous versions, the Playhouse Key had different spawning locations:
- In the Basement Safe, later moved to the Special Room's locker in v1.5.
- In the Car Hood, later moved to the table in the Garage in v1.5.
- In the Special Room’s locker, later moved to the Crow Cage in v1.7.
- In the Screwdriver Safe in the Secret Area Bottom Floor, later moved to the Car Hood in v1.4.
- On the table in the Garage, later moved to the Special Room’s locker in v1.7.
- In the Special Room’s locker, later moved to the Spider Cellar in v1.8.
- The Playhouse Key, Padlock Key, Master Key, and Safe Key are the only items that make a jingling sound when picked up.
- The Playhouse Key is the only item that can spawn inside of the Spider Cellar's Cupboard #2.
