— The Player |
The Playhouse Padlock is a lock/obstacle that blocks the Player from going into the Playhouse. It is found at the door that leads inside, is connected to a latch and is unlocked only with the Playhouse Key.
Appearance
The Playhouse Padlock is a small lock with the same key mechanism we all know. The lock itself is painted into a green color, and is made out of metal. The metal appears to be scratched. The shackle is made out of solid metal that also appears scratched, and is not painted into any color.
Mechanics
The Playhouse Padlock will hang still, not letting the door to the Playhouse be opened. Removing it requires the player to interact with it while holding the Playhouse Key which will make the lock fall onto the ground and let the door be opened. But if the player interacts with it without the aforementioned item, a hint will pop up, saying "I need a playhouse key".
Trivia
- The Playhouse Padlock is the smallest lock in the game.
- Its size is comparable to the Spark Plug.
- The Playhouse Padlock is the only lock to have a cylindrical main part.
- Unlike the Regular Padlock, which has a different color from the key responsible for unlocking it, the key handle for this lock has the same color as the main body of this key.
- The Playhouse Padlock, the Red Cogwheel and the Orange Cogwheel make the same noise when hitting against something.
- The color of the Playhouse Padlock has the same color and texture similar to the Playhouse Key handle, The Green cogwheel, and the pressure sensor of the regular bear trap.
