The Rusty Padlock is an obstacle that blocks the Escape Pipe Escape Route. It is found on the Escape Pipe and is unlocked only with the Rusty Padlock Key.
Appearance[]
The Rusty Padlock is a rusty metallic padlock based on a key mechanism that is being held up by two hooks on both doors of the Escape Pipe. The main part of the lock is a wide dark beige cube with a keyhole on the front, and the shackle of it is light beige and in a form of a square with rounded edges and is tinged with corroded metal.
Mechanics[]
The Rusty Padlock prevents the Escape Pipe, which leads to an ending, from being opened. Removing it requires the player to interact with it while holding the Rusty Padlock Key, which will make the lock fall off the door and allow both the doors to be opened. But if the player interact with it without the aforementioned item, a hint will pop up saying "I need a rusty padlock key".
Trivia[]
- This is one of the few locks that consume the item responsible for unlocking it.
- The other locks that do this are: the one on the Spider Cellar Trapdoor, the Battery Lock and the Special Lock.
