The Sewer is a room that was added to Granny in Version 1.7.
Appearance
The Sewer is a dirty, badly-lit, underground subterranean room, the floor being covered by stagnant water in the alike swamp. The walls are made of stone, covered in lichens, while the ceiling is just made of brown wooden planks.
Description
The Player can access the Sewer through a one-way entrance in the Backyard, via a staircase in the Old House Kitchen, or through a one-way Vent Grille in the Spider Cellar.
Primarily, the Player visits this room to initiate the opening of the Sewer Cell. This can be achieved by aiming at the red Target Lock and firing with either the Crossbow or the Shotgun.
Granny will never come here on her own unless she is alerted by noise. The room is a dead end, however, so the Player is forced to expose itself to ensure that the way is unobstructed.
This room also features a hiding spot called the Sewer Tunnel. However, to check if the area is safe, the player must momentarily make themselves visible, thus exposing themselves which can sometimes pose a risk.

Trivia
- The Sewer Cell is the only room in the entire sewer like hence the name of this room, Sewer, however.
- It’s possible that the water in this room (as well as the lichen that covers the walls) are a result of a sewage flood from the Spider Cellar, specifically from the one-way vent that connects these two areas.
- This would mean that this room was once a Basement.
- Before Version 1.8, there was no vent on the wall of the Sewer, and besides that, no spiders can be seen nor heard.
- Since version 1.3 of the PC version, the water was changed from a yellow liquid to the same textured water as the Mobile version of Granny
