The Sewer Cell is a underground room in Granny that was added in Version 1.7, along with the other rooms in the new area. It is located in the Sewer opposite to the staircase going up to the Old House Kitchen.

Appearance

This room is initially locked by a red switch, Target Lock on the door, and this requires the Player to go to a window at the side of the room and use a Tranquilizer Dart or the Shotgun to knock the Target Lock down. When hit, the door will unlock.

The room has the same color scheme as the rest of the sewer, and includes a small table, which will always contain the Freeze Trap on it. There will always be a useful item in this room in every preset.

In the corner of the room, a Skeleton can be seen, and its skull will roll off and fall onto the floor, if the Player goes too close, which will alert Granny. It is heavily speculated that the Skeleton is the Previous Victim's.

Access

The Sewer Cell is initially locked by the Target Lock that is mounted on the Door. You will need to shoot it with the Crossbow and a Tranquilizer Dart or the Shotgun in order to unlock the Door.

With the Crossbow, you will need to aim slightly higher than the Target Lock's actual position in order to hit it.

Trivia

• As of now, the Sewer Cell is the only room in Granny that requires a weapon instead of a key to unlock.
• The Sewer Cell's door opens the widest of any door in the Granny series.
• In previous Versions of the game, different items used to spawn in the Sewer Cell:
  • Preset 1: Winch Handle - Leaned up against the back wall.
    • This was changed in Version 1.8.
  • Preset 5: Melon - In the Skeleton's lap.
    • This was also changed in Version 1.8.
• In Version 1.8, there's a glitch where if you are behind the door and you open it, you might get pushed between the walls of the Spider Cellar and the Sewer Cell.
• In Version 1.8, there's a glitch where you can unlock the Sewer Cell's Door by putting the Crossbow and the Tranquilizer Darts and aiming through the door, and the darts will instantly go through the door, hitting the Target Lock.
  • This only works if you timed it perfectly.
  • This doesn't work using the Shotgun due to its size.
