This article is about the Character. If you were looking for the game, see Slender Man: Rise Again.

Slendrina's Father (also known as Slenderman) is a character that makes his appearances in a few games made by DVloper, specifically House of Slendrina and The Child Of Slendrina. He appears as a ghost of an adult man, lacking any facial features and wearing almost all black clothing, resembling a well-known creepypasta character, Slender Man.

Slendrina's Father made his first appearance in the game House of Slendrina as part of a family photo on December 22nd, 2014.

History

Slendrina's Father/Slender man is the hostile ghost of a deceased man, that man being Slendrina's father. When alive, he was married to Slendrina's Mother, and they had a daughter whom, at least now, is named Slendrina. One day, he and his daughter got poisoned by his wife , and Slendrina would later get married to a vampire, and she would later give birth to a child.

He first debuts in House of Slendrina as a part of the ending cutscene, appearing in a photo and then behind the Player, revealing that he is the father of Slendrina. He makes his final appearance in The Child of Slendrina, where he appears as antagonist to the Player of that game.

Appearance

Slendrina's Father visually appears as a tall white skinned human figure lacking any facial features dressed in grim clothing: white clothing layered under a black suit with long sleeves, a black tie, a black pair of pants and black pair of shoes. His appearance was taken from Slenderman's, having many resemblances between each other.

In-game Behaviour

This section describes how Slendrina's Father behaves in The Child Of Slendrina.

While the Player is on the ground floor of the house, Slendrina's Father can teleport anywhere around them at any time. Looking at Slendrina's Father will make the Player's camera forcefully move to him, and make their health drain, faster than when looking at Slendrina; once the Player manages to move their camera to keep Slendrina's Father out of sight, they can freely control the camera and their health stops draining, unless they look at him again.

Game Appearances

Game Description
Slender Man: Rise Again He's a main and only antagonist in this game. He acts like Slendrina, in the first game in Her series.
House of Slendrina He appears as a minor character pictured alive in Slendrina's family photo standing with Slendrina and her mother, who hold their hands together. A few seconds later, he is seen physically as a ghost.
The Child Of Slendrina He gains his first special role in this game, appearing as an antagonist. He behaves largely the same Slendrina, although he only appears on the ground floor of the map.

Trivia

  • Slenderman was created by user Victor Surge on the Something Awful forums in 2009 during a photo contest.
  • The model and textures used for Slendrina's Father were reused from DVloper's older game, Slender Man: Rise Again, with the only difference between the two models being that the current one lacks tentacles on his back.
  • He is specifically named "Slender Man" in DVloper's lesser-known game, "Slender Man: Rise Again" (also referred to as "Slender Man: Stands"). However, it remains uncertain whether this game takes place in the same universe as the Slendrina and Granny series. It may take place as we can see Slendrina hanging in one of the cottages in game as she might be committing suicide or someone killed her, though, she won't attack the player.
  • House of Slendrina and The Child of Slendrina specifically avoided calling him this name due to copyright purposes, although the latter game is not on iOS due to Slendrina's Father's major role in the game.
  • Slendrina's Father doesn't appear in the Granny series because DVloper didn't have permission to use this character.
    • Also, he is the only member of Slender Family that doesn't appear in Granny trilogy.
  • Slendrina's Father is referred as "Slender" in the game files.
