ā€œ It has been a good day today but i'm starting to feel dizzy and nauseous now. ā€ž
— The sentence written by Slendrina in her diary

Slendrina is a minor character and an easter egg in Granny and Granny: Chapter Two, the tertiary antagonist in Granny 3 and the titular main antagonist in the Slendrina series, from Slendrina up to Slendrina X. Slendrina is also Granny's granddaughter and is the main antagonist in the Slendrina series.

Personality

There's not much information about her personality in the games, but the description of Slendrina states she's more evil than her father and is also territorial, attacking anyone who enters her territory. She is very protective of her child.

Appearance

Slendrina is a woman with a ghostly appearance. Her body is mostly white, with some visible dirt and blood marks on her face, black dirty hair, red eyes surrounded with black marks and a black bloody mouth. She wears a white dress (which is identical to her Mother's dress). In her Granny appearance, her dress is blurry as a result of low texture resolution and she emits white smoke.

On Christmas versions, she wears a Christmas hat on her head in the endings she appears, with no changes to her general appearance.

When she was alive, she has two appearances: Adult and Teenager. Her adult is similar to her ingame appearance, however, she has dark eyes, as well as being supposedly fair-skinned. Her teenager is unknown, as she is not fully seen as she is crossed or the woman among the children that are crossed.

Gameplay

In Granny game, she appears as an Easter egg. In Granny: Chapter Two, her wailing head appears floating above her son for a short while if you kill him. In Granny 3, she reprises her role as an antagonist for the first time since Slendrina X. She works more or less the same as in her series, with a few minor changes.

  • When Player looks at her, the screen starts shaking.
  • Per the Granny series gameplay formula, she knocks out the player instead of killing them.
  • After placing the Teddy into the Crib in Granny 3, she will give the Player an item and disappear for the rest of the game. She cannot be pacified in any of the Slendrina games.

She acts as the main antagonist in the Slendrina games and Granny 3. She occasionally teleports in front of the Player and forces them to look at her, which drains their health. The Player must quickly avoid her gaze to save themselves from being knocked out.

Summoning

If the Player puts Teddy into the crib in the Nursery, Slendrina will be summoned for a brief moment as a short rendition of her theme plays. Doing that will teleport Granny to the Basement and the Player will get a secret ending if they do the Door Escape. Said secret ending shows Granny sitting on the front porch of her house, holding the teddy while Slendrina stands behind her and stares out into the forest.

Story

In the ending of The Child Of Slendrina, the player takes Slendrina's diary and escapes the house. The single page of this diary shown reads as follows:

July 10th, 1892

"Dear diary

It has been a good day today but i'm starting to feel dizzy and nauseous now.

The whole family went to the park and the weather was wonderful.

Mother was in an extra good mood which doesn't happen that often.

When we came home she cooked us dinner.

I though it tasted a bit weird but didn't dare to say anything.

Father looked pale and had to lie down straight after dinner.

I can hear him in the other room... the pain...

I'm feeling even worse now, my head is spinning"

It can be inferred that Slendrina's Mother killed Slendrina and her father by poisoning them.

Trivia

  • Slendrina's Granny model is based on her Slendrina X appearance, as well as her more modern Slendrina: The Cellar appearance.
  • In Granny: Chapter Two, a picture Granny can be seen in the TV Room with Slendrina seemingly photobombing the picture.
  • Slendrina's face comes from a promo image of The Grudge 2.
  • Due to Slendrina not having a proper texture for her head, all her polygons use her face texture. This makes her have a "second face" that people commonly mistake for a intentional design choice.
  • The dress Slendrina has used since House of Slendrina in 2014 is from the Temperley London 2012 Ophelia Collection.
  • One of Slendrina's screams comes from The Thing.
  • Slendrina is the only character to appear in every single game in the Slendrina and Granny series.
  • In Slender Man: Rise Again, Slendrina can be found hanging from a rope in one of the cottages in the Village level.
    • While this probably could've been DVloper's original idea for how Slendrina died, it is most likely just an easter egg.
    • The original idea of Slendrina's death is suicide, as the files of Slendrina: The Cellar say that the noose in cellar 2 belongs to Slendrina.
    • Also, it is believed by many that the girl is not Slendrina, because in the game files it refers to her as a girl and not as Slendrina. But this is false, because in Slendrina X there are several paintings with her face.
