The Special Lock is one of several locks in Granny. It is opened with the Special Key. When the Special Key is inserted into this lock, a loud noise will be produced, thus opening the Special Door but will not alert Granny.
Description
Unlike the other locks in the game, this lock is supposed to be circle shaped (The lock is a dodecahedron, a 12-sided shape or a 12-sided polygon). This explains the strange shape of the Special Key that goes with it, too. Once the Special Key is used on the Special Lock, it is unable to be retrieved, as the door will go into the wall, unlike other doors.
Trivia
- When the Player inserts the Special Key to open the room, it creates a large amount of noise, but it doesn't alert Granny.
- Since Version 1.7.9.3, the blue base around the keyhole itself is now made out of brown wood.
- In fact, the new texture for the Special lock since this version was added by mistake.
