The Trigger is an item in Granny that was added in Version 1.4, along with the Shotgun itself.
Appearance
The Trigger is made out of some kind of scratched metal and has a switch to shoot with. Its shape is complex with some curves and sharp edges.
Description
The Trigger is one of the three parts used to complete and assemble the Shotgun. As the Player approaches the shotgun blueprint, the Trigger will be manually placed in the middle of the blueprint.
Spawning
The Trigger can spawn in five different locations, and those are not randomized, but predefined by the Preset you're playing on:
- Kitchen - In Cupboard #2.
- Nursery - On the chest of drawers.
- Spider Cellar - On the shelf.
- Meat Room - On the table.
- Garage - In the Glove Compartment.
Trivia
- Compared to all the other Shotgun Parts, the Trigger changed its preset positions the least number of times in each update.
- The Trigger used to spawn on the chest of drawer's shelf in Bedroom 2 in Preset #3, but it was moved to the Spider Cellar in Version 1.8.
- The Trigger is the smallest Shotgun part alongside the other two.
- The Trigger is one of the few items that spawn on the Spider Cellar's Shelf.
- Same goes with the Engine Part and the Meat.
- The texture for the Trigger shares with the texture of the floor of Granny's House.
- This is the only texture that shares a similarity with the floor.
