The Wooden Stick is an escape type item in Granny. It is necessary for the Escape Pipe route, as it disables one of the locks which holds the pipe closed. It was added to Granny in Version 1.8.
Appearance[]
This item appears as a long and thick cylinder made out of brown wood with a dusty and a moist texture to it (a stick). When interacting with the Lever Lock of the Escape Pipe without having the Wooden Stick in their hand, a message stating "I need some kind of lever" will appear.

Usage[]
The only purpose of the Wooden Stick is to be used as a makeshift lever to activate the Lever Lock and unlock the Escape Pipe in the Spider Cellar.
Spawning[]
The Wooden Stick can spawn in one of five locations, depending on which Preset you are playing on:
- Preset #1 - Sewer Cell - Next to the Skeleton.
- Preset #2 - Old House Closet - On the barrel.
- Preset #3 - Stair Closet - On the shelf.
- Preset #4 - Jail - On the floor, next to the Jail Ventilator.
- Preset #5 - Basement - Inside of the Safe.
Trivia[]
- The Wooden Stick makes the sound of what would be a very thin wooden pole, despite being very thick in width.
- The Wooden Stick, the Backyard Switch and the Bookshelf Lever are the only levers in the game.
- As of now, the Wooden Stick is one of only five escape items that is never found out in the open, the others being the Master Key, the Rusty Padlock Key, the Hammer, and the Padlock Key. It will always be found behind a puzzle.
- The Wooden Stick has a glitch where if you put it in the Lever Lock as the final step and then spam open the Escape Pipe, it may glitch by appearing not to be pushed all the way through the Lever Lock. Instead, it stops at the half point of its animation, leaving one side of the Lever Lock flat.
- The Wooden Stick and the Gasoline Can will never spawn inside the Jail Ventilator. Instead, they will spawn right next to it, due to their sizes.
- It is unknown what the Wooden Stick was previously used for, and how Granny was able to knock it off through the Lever Lock.
- The Player can actually grab the Wooden Stick without getting trapped in the Jail Cell
