The Wrench is an escape type item in the game Granny. It serves as a tool for tightening for the Bolts on the Engine Part. There are six of those bolts, and after tightening them all, you'll tighten the Engine, thus fixing the car.

Appearance

The Wrench is rusty, open-end, and with a single U-shaped opening, thus making it look like the combination a wrench and a spanner and hence the item's name. It's made of metal, likely iron or steel, and sports very heavily chipped green and brown paint. The wrench itself is very thin, with a round end.

In Granny: Chapter Two, the Wrench appears as a small metal spanner with a few black stains on the handle. In the PC Port, the wrench has the same texture, albeit with a light blue tint.

Mechanics

Usage

The Wrench is used to tighten the bolts on the Engine Part once it has been placed on the engine block, in order to connect them together and thus complete a step in fixing the Car.

Spawning

The position of the Wrench is determined by which preset you're playing on.

Trivia

  • The opening of the Wrench is much larger than the bolts it is used on, and the opening also has a different shape that does not fit the shape of the bolts.
  • This item and the Special Key play the same noise when they hit something.
  • This item's texture blends very well with wooden floors.
  • It's unknown why the Wrench is colored blue in the PC Port of Granny: Chapter Two, but it's possible that it was recolored, so it doesn't blend in with any floors.
  • It used to spawn on the TV Table, before Version 1.8, when it was moved to the Spider Cellar Drain, behind the bars.
